MacMinistry Staff   Mark Abshier, Preaching Minister Mark Abshier has been preaching at MacArthur Park since 2001.  Mark is married to Ellen and has two children, Jessica & Jordan. Jessica is a member of MacArthur Park and Jordan is attending Abilene Christian University.  Mark and Ellen served as missionaries in Brazil before returning to the states and preaching in Kansas. When Mark is not preaching and teaching you might find him hunting, fishing or reading a good book.  Preaching & Teaching   Richard Shough, Church Life Minister Richard Shough served as MacArthur Park's Youth Minister for fourteen years before taking on a new role as Church Life Minister.  Richard is married to Janet and they have three children.  Caleb and Kaci are both students at Oklahoma Christian University, and Cameron is in 4th grade.  Richard has served as camp director for CampOC camps on the campus of Oklahoma Christian for twenty years. Administration & Family   www.campoc.org   Douglas Brown, Adult Discipleship Minister Douglas Brown has served as the Minister of Adult Discipleship at MacArthur Park for ten years.  His primary responsibilities include Adult Education and Involvement.  Before coming to MacArthur Park Douglas preached in Junction, Texas.  He is married to Laurie and they have three children: Malinda, a student at ACU; Andrew and Anthony, twin boys who are in high school.  Adult Education & Involvement   Barry Newton, Associate Minister Barry Newton joined the MacArthur Park staff in 2006 as Associate Minister. Barry's primary responsibility is Outreach.  Before coming to MacArthur Park, Barry preached in San Jose, California.  He has served as a missionary in Brazil.  He is married to Sofia, and they have two teenage sons,  Timothy and Lucas.  Outreach & Care   Kody Speer, Youth Minister Kody Speer Kody joined our staff in 2008. He previously served as Youth Minister in Athens, Texas.  Kody grew up as a missionary kid.  He is married to Kristie and has a baby boy named Brayden.  Kody loves his ministry to teenagers. Youth   KIrby Tomberlin, Children's Ministry Assistant Kirby Tomberlin is the newest member of our staff joining us in December 2010. She is working with Cradle Roll through 5th grade students and families.  She is a graduate of Oklahoma Christian University. Children
